United Attends the Tri-State Seminar in Las Vegas, NV
On September 23rd, 9 members of the United team traveled to the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada to attend the Tri-State Seminar and host our 2nd annual Tri-State Hospitality Party. The Tri-State Seminar shares ideas, tools, and new technology to help deliver the results, products, and services our customers need. We were thrilled that our entire management team and some of our sales team were able to attend this awesome event and network with colleagues and exhibitors.

Team United Visits CLOW Valve in Corona, CA
For more than 130 years, CLOW Valve has been servicing its customers as one of the United States' premiere manufacturers of iron valves and hydrants for the waterworks industry. On July 18th, CLOW Valve hosted United Water Works for lunch and a tour of their Corona facility. This location is the production facility for their extensive wet barrel fire hydrant line- and the United team was able to see the entire process from start to finish!

United Water Works supplies the Chromium-6 treatment plant in La Quinta, CA
United Water Works is proud to be the supplier of the pipe, fittings & valves that went into the new Chromium-6 treatment plant for the Indio Water Authority. The almost $3 million purchase of water treatment equipment was approved in February by the City Council. Work began right away to complete the project by July in order to meet the increased demand for water during the hot summer months in the Coachella Valley. Borden Excavating was awarded the job on a Tuesday, and we made our first deliveries the following Monday. The plans on this project were completed quickly, and daily changes required our suppliers to step up to the plate to help us meet the needs our our customer. The overall project totaled nearly $7 million dollars, and was completed in less than 6 months due to the planning and coordination of all 3 United branches, all the contractors and suppliers involved. Congratulations to everyone involved on this successful job!

Industry News - El Paseo Square
El Paseo Square is a multi–tenant retail property in Palm Desert, CA., which includes first class luxury frontage space and luxury internal space. As part of the design for El Paseo Square's retail property, Thienes Engineering needed to incorporate stormwater design aspects to promote infiltration and prevent runoff. Prinsco HydroStor underground infiltration chambers were chosen as part of this solution as they enable engineers to design high quality stormwater management systems that will fit into tight spaces.
